The lever handle can easily unlock the deadlatch or deadlock by a downward hand movement. The lever handle includes an activator cam mounts on the handle escutcheon and fits into the cylinder hole of latch.
Lever of silver painted is shaped to fit the hand, with a concave thumb-rest portion that tends to keep knuckles and thumb safely away from the jamb, even on a short backset narrow stile.

- Deadlatch handle has a cam plug to work with deadlatch
- An ADA compliant lever is shaped to fit the hand
- Hand: Non-handed, reversible cam plug included. The cam plug with hook is handed for left or right hand doors.
- Operation: Turning lever downward will activate deadlatch

- Lever: Aluminum alloy cast
- Sloping Escutcheon: Aluminum, 1-3/8" x 4", heavy duty spring mechanism prevents sagging of lever handle
- Spindle: Wrought steel, 1/4" square heat-treated
- Handing can be reversed by removing a spring clip, reversing the cam and replacing the clip
- Color coated finish to match 335 black anodized, 313 dark bronze anodized (DU) and 628 aluminum anodized (AL)
- For 1-3/4" thick doors

- Individually packed in a box with mounting screws and cam plug left handed or right handed as specified.
